Le Mans Ultimate 1.2.3 update 2 patch 3 adds Hypercar tyre update and race-control fixes
This patch updates Hypercar tyres, reworks related Hypercar setup items, and fixes issues across co-op, server/session changes, penalties, track limits, replay, telemetry, and several tracks and cars.
Le Mans Ultimate’s 1.2.3 Update 2 Patch 3 is focused on Hypercar tyre changes, plus a wide set of fixes for race procedures, penalties, server stability, and track/car content. Full notes are in the official patch post.
What changed
Cars
- Updated Hypercar tyres.
- Hypercar changes include brake heating parameter adjustments, traction control map adjustments for the updated tyres, an FFB equalisation pass, damage tweaks, and an initial new Hypercar BOP for the tyre update.
- Fixed electric motor power output inconsistencies.
- Minor GT3 BOP review.
- Reviewed track limits target lap times on all cars.
- Car-specific fixes include aero naming updates for the Peugeot 9X8 and Aston Martin Valkyrie, Cadillac seat movement and rim LOD fixes, Oreca AI correlation tweaks, BMW interior LOD rebuilds, Porsche/Corvette/Peugeot/McLaren/Aston Martin/Ligier visual or damage fixes, Alpine HUD update, and Valkyrie aero, spring, and skid block adjustments.
Gameplay
- Fixed a co-op free pit stop exploit involving driver handover and reassignment.
- Fixed a case where being teleported to the pits at race start could show a car in first for a full lap.
- Fixed unserved stop-go penalties in qualifying causing a 0-second pit stop in the race.
- Limited tyre rules now better handle invalid tyre selections, damaged-tyre replacement logic, and prevent damaged or detached tyres from being reused.
- Improved the auto-blip model to reduce excessive rear locking, especially on LMDh cars.
- Race start fixes cover uneven AI spacing in fast rolling starts, some jump starts receiving no penalty, and an exploit around burnout/speeding up/slowing down penalization.
- Track limits now more harshly penalize time gain after rejoining the track, and fixes were made to illegal-pass monitoring and strictness changing after pit stops.
Multiplayer and tech
- Fixed a rare server crash.
- Fixed an intermittent hang when the server changes sessions from qualifying to race.
- Fixed a replay crash from the co-op screen.
- Fixed telemetry files missing the last 10 seconds.
- Fixed missing weekly/special events messaging in RaceControl.
- Fixed HUD changes in Instant Replay, lap count showing as 0, and some UI layout/styling issues.
Tracks
- Sebring: fixed pit-entry track limits on the full circuit.
- Bahrain: fixed missing armco collisions at the end of the pit wall.
- Silverstone: added Goodyear arches and a rally handling center, and fixed a pit-exit track limits violation from the last pit box.
- Paul Ricard: added barriers/props, fixed curb and terrain issues, increased curb grip by 2%, optimized runoff mesh topology, and made material and bollard tweaks.
We should rerun league test sessions for Hypercars, verify pit-stop and tyre-allocation workflows, and brief drivers on the stricter post-rejoin track-limits enforcement.
