- - removed game mode selector page on game startup, it now directly loads into Open Mode - Career mode has been disabled
- - gain-based track cut logic:
- when cutting, there's a gain evaluation, if there is no gain, there is no warning, if there is a gain, the player has 500 metres to give up the gain, if this fails, the player is given a warning/time penalty/DT/SG/DSQ depending on the severity of the remaining unserved time gain, a widget helps the player determine whether time is being given up or not
- - added possibility to deviate from the global track limit rules on a per corner basis
- the target is to have more natural feeling track limits and not penalizing players where they already lose time by stretching the limits (e.g. gravel traps on corner exits)
- - under-the-hood revamp of dynamic weather/track simulation and server-client syncing of conditions -> this will be a longer process to calibrate and finetune, which will be rolled out in subsequent updates
