Changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes shipped to Racey.

v0.5.0
New Feature

The Racey Blog + auto-drafted first seasons

The Racey Blog is live — in the site header, on the homepage, and on league dashboards — covering league operations and sim-racing platform news. Posts are drafted by an automated pipeline and reviewed by a human before anything publishes. Separately, creating a league now auto-creates a draft Season 1, so setup starts from a working season shell instead of an empty league.

v0.4.4
New Feature

Compare hub + the league-ops guide

A new /compare hub with sourced, feature-by-feature comparisons against SimGrid, Xtreme Scoring, iRLeagueManager, SimRacing.GP, and the spreadsheet workflow — every competitor claim traces to a cited, dated source. It anchors to our long-form guide, How to Run an iRacing League.

v0.4.3
New Feature

Pro/Am sub-championships + team championships

Each car class can now run Pro and Am sub-championships with their own standings, scored from the same results as the overall championship. Team championships land alongside driver standings, so multi-driver outfits finally have a table of their own.

v0.4.2
New Feature

Results program: lossless ingest, Pulse UI, driver pages, lap charts

Result files are now ingested losslessly — everything in the file is kept, not just the finishing order. On top of that data: a new Pulse results view, per-driver result pages, and lap charts for digging into how a race actually unfolded.

v0.4.1
New Feature

Results import redesign + Twin Duels

The results importer was rebuilt end-to-end: iRacing export files are unwrapped and parsed correctly, finishing positions land where they should, and drivers who actually raced are approved automatically instead of waiting in a queue. Twin-format events (two duels feeding one round) are now scored as a single round with stats computed across both races.

v0.4.0
New Feature

Round & season lifecycle controls

Rounds and seasons now have a real lifecycle. Cancel a round and restore it later, clear results to re-import cleanly, and delete with guardrails so nothing disappears by accident. Season schedules render in date order, and roster requests can now be denied as well as approved.

v0.3.1
Bug Fix

Public-site trust pass

Public surface audit + remediation in advance of inviting external beta users.

  • Past events no longer render Register for Event; new status-aware CTA matrix
  • ICS calendar export uses the public site URL, not the upstream proxy
  • Season schedule renders league-supplied race times instead of an unlabelled UTC clock
  • /developers landing accurately describes read AND write API scopes
  • Demo data refreshed: rolling round schedule, neutral driver names
v0.3.0
Improvement

Admin remediation waves 1-7

364 admin-tracker rows closed across seven waves of platform-admin remediation.

  • Mutation-surface parity, audit log triage, retention cron
  • Bulk-actions, filter chips, RSC migration on 13 admin pages
  • Reports CSV / Discord / metrics, organization deep-dive, livery moderation
  • Resend webhook ingestion, audit log keyset pagination, feedback FK indexes
v0.2.2
New Feature

Docs + onboarding rebuild

Reference Center, role-based getting-started guides, and the founding-partner badging are live.

  • Consolidated docs/school + Start Here flows (League Admin / Driver / Steward / Broadcaster / Race Director)
  • Operational reference: league ops, race-day control, stewarding consistency, fast lookups
  • Founding Leagues page reflects shipped Enterprise tier and current slot count
  • Public docs / blog / changelog / contact / legal nav reorganized
v0.2.1
New Feature

Assets v1: liveries, setups, documents

Drivers, teams, and leagues now have first-class asset storage.

  • Personal + team + league asset libraries with per-tier quotas
  • Livery gallery (driver / team / league scopes), upload moderation, share grants
  • Tier-aware quotas: Free 250 MB / 25 files (personal); Pro 5 GB / 250 files; Enterprise unlimited
v0.1.0-beta
New Feature

Open beta launches

Racey is open for beta. We're inviting league admins, drivers, broadcasters, and stewards to set up real leagues end-to-end.

  • Public league directory and per-league pages are live
  • Free tier covers everything most leagues need to run a full season
  • Driver-managed iRacing Customer ID linking + league-managed CSV results import
  • Stewarding workflow with blind review, appeals, and penalty points
v0.1.0-rc
Improvement

Phase 7: motion + brand

Polish pass across visual identity and motion.

  • 3-layer OKLCH design tokens, JetBrains Mono numerics, type ramp
  • View-transitions API for smoother route changes, reduced-motion respect
  • Racing icon set, chart gridlines + draw-in animation, off-track 404
  • Logo system + 8 derivative artwork files, OG image regenerated
