The unversioned announcement introduces the free Aussie Rivals Pack, adding the Holden Commodore VF and updating the AUS V8 class alongside Update 2.1.

cars

We’ve got a new content drop for Project Motor Racing: the free Aussie Rivals Pack, announced alongside Update 2.1. Per the official announcement, it reunites the Ford Falcon FG and Holden Commodore VF on the same grid.

What changed

Cars

  • The Holden Commodore VF has been added to Project Motor Racing as part of the free Aussie Rivals Pack DLC.
  • The pack pairs the newly added Holden with the previously released Ford Falcon FG.

Handling and physics

  • The AUS V8 class receives a complete handling and tyre overhaul.
  • The class also gets updates to:
    • aero sensitivity
    • inertia
    • centre of gravity
    • brake ducts
    • brake heat behaviour
    • default setups

Events and game modes

  • Career Mode events that allow the AUS V8 class have been adjusted so the new Holden Commodore VF can be used.

Context noted in the announcement

  • The announcement says these AUS V8 changes arrive alongside Update 2.1, which also includes a GT3 and GT4 overhaul.

For league ops, we should add the Holden to any AUS V8 entry lists and rerun setup baselines and event eligibility checks before the next championship round.
