AMS2 1.6.7.1 is a follow-up patch to the weekend release, adding extra polish plus multiplayer, AI, audio, vehicle, physics, and track camera fixes.
We’ve got a small follow-up update for Automobilista 2: version 1.6.7.1 is live as a complementary patch to the weekend release, focused on extra polish and fixes that missed the earlier cut. The official notes are in this update post.
What changed
Fixes
- Fixed duplicated class position numbers in final multiplayer race results after participants disconnected.
- Fixed a possible multiplayer race-end CTD for users with Thrustmaster display devices.
- Added a 30-second delay for repeated vehicle reset use in multiplayer sessions.
- Fixed redundant anti-roll and bump stop ranges showing on setup screens for cars that do not support those adjustments.
Cars, AI, audio, and vehicle content
- AI calibration updated for Copa Fusca, Superkart, and Ligier JS P4.
- Added an AI roster for Ligier JS P4.
- Updated Formula Vee Gen2 AI roster with new driver and livery names.
- Audio fixes for engine sound pitch consistency on several Copa classes and Hot Cars; Formula Vee tire scrub and skid sounds were also adjusted.
- Ligier JS P4 received two new liveries plus cockpit mesh/detail updates.
- F-Ultimate Gen2 got visual material, LED, display, and paint override updates.
- Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo and McLaren 720S GT3 Evo received livery/material fixes.
- Cockpit/animation adjustments were made for Formula Vee Gen1, Mini Cooper S 1965, and F-V10 Gen2.
Physics
- Further drafting adjustments.
- Minor tire, aero, drag, brake torque, tread, weight distribution, and pressure tweaks across several classes, including Alpine A110 GT4, Copa Fusca, Superkart, Formula Vee Gen2, street radials, and F-USA speedway tires.
- Setup reset is recommended for Superkart, Super V8, and Caterhams due to camber or toe setting changes.
- Revised FFB for Formula Vee (both generations), Ligier JS P4, Ligier JS2-R, and F-Inter.
Tracks
- Revised trackside cameras for Barcelona, Cascais, Cleveland, Daytona, Hockenheim, Imola, Indianapolis, Interlagos, Jerez, and Kansai.
We should reset saved setups for the noted classes, retest MP admin procedures around race-end and reset behavior, and recheck broadcast camera presets on the updated tracks.
