We’ve logged a new competitive announcement for Assetto Corsa Rally: the first FIA esports competition hosted in the sim, the FIA Esports x Assetto Corsa Rally – Global Rally Tour. - The competition is presented as a global event, with the stated path leading to live FIA Finals in Shanghai during FIA Awards Week.

- drivers must be at least 14 years old;
- drivers must register through the FIA website;
- drivers must declare passport nationality and date of birth during registration;
- competitive region is based on passport nationality, not esports licence nationality;
- adult drivers may represent themselves as a Competitor if legally considered an adult in their country;
- drivers aged 14-17 must nominate an adult Competitor with a valid licence;
- no licence is required for the online qualifier, but a licence is required if a driver qualifies for the Regional Shootouts.
- The announcement also states that all times will be captured using an in-game event dedicated server, with the same car and stage combination used for all competitors.
