Assetto Corsa Rally 0.4.1 patch updates leaderboard fairness
Version 0.4.1 tightens track limits, forces physical damage on in Time Attack and Challenge, and resets leaderboards to reflect the fairness changes.
We’ve got a small but important fairness-focused patch in Assetto Corsa Rally 0.4.1. According to the official 0.4.1 update announcement, this release is aimed at making leaderboards fairer and reducing exploits around track limits and damage.
What changed
Tracks
- Some track limits have been tightened to reduce corner cutting.
- Because these changes affect achievable times, the leaderboards are being reset in the interest of fair competition.
- The reset was scheduled for 4pm BST / 5pm CEST on the day of release.
- After the reset, players are advised to restart the game so everything updates correctly.
Modes / competition rules
- Physical damage is now always ON in Time Attack and Challenge modes to discourage cheating.
For our league ops, we should treat pre-0.4.1 hotlap and challenge results as obsolete, restart any comparable competitions on the new version, and remind drivers to relaunch the game after the leaderboard reset.
