RaceRoom patch notes released for 15 July 2026
RaceRoom’s 15 July 2026 patch updates the client to 0.9.7.81 and dedicated server to 110.0.1652, with changes to semi-automatic gearbox behavior, multiplayer reputation penalties, control-set handling, and several car, graphics, controller, and server fixes.
RaceRoom has published its 15 July 2026 patch notes in the official announcement. The update lists client version 0.9.7.81 (BuildID 24213810) and dedicated server version 110.0.1652 (BuildID 24215969).
What changed
Features
- In the UI, changing an assist setting on a read-only control set now creates a custom copy before saving, so the change is no longer lost.
Physics
- Auto-lift on upshifts is now always active on semi-automatic gearboxes.
- Clutch input is no longer blocked at speed.
Multiplayer
- The extra reputation penalty previously applied on disconnect has been removed.
Fixes
- Volkswagen Scirocco GR2: fixed an incorrect maximum steering lock value.
- Graphics: undertray sparks have been reduced in size and their burn rate increased for a more natural look.
- Controllers: VNM wheelbases are now set to allow automatic steering range detection.
- Controllers: fixed missing pit menu bindings on the Mouse control preset.
- Dedicated Server: further optimizations and fixes.
For league ops, we should roll client and dedicated server updates in step, verify any semi-auto gearbox regulations and assist presets, and brief drivers that disconnects no longer trigger the extra reputation penalty.
