RENNSPORT 1.1.5 patch update
Patch 1.1.5 is out on all platforms with fixes for console crashes, AI lap times, penalty handling between race stages, Quick Session UI, saved Nvidia Reflex settings, mirror and graphics improvements on consoles, online race flow fixes, several UI corrections, and updated livery pricing with refunds for prior purchases.
Patch 1.1.5 is live on all platforms for RENNSPORT. According to the official patch notes, this update focuses on stability, AI, race flow, visuals, UI, and store pricing.
What changed
Fixes
- Fixed a console crash that could occur when selecting Open Free Camera from the Pit screen during a Quick Session or Official contest, or while watching a replay.
- Fixed AI lap times that could sometimes be unrealistic.
- Fixed penalties being applied during transitions between race stages. The UI may still show a penalty, but the notes state this is now visual only and has no gameplay effect.
- Removed the BoP screen from Quick Session.
- Fixed an issue where Nvidia Reflex setting changes were not being saved.
- Updated incorrect Xbox controller-image terminology for the Start Engine icon.
Cars / visuals / gameplay
- Increased rear-view mirror resolution and draw distance on consoles.
- Adjusted mirror sky colour and fixed mismatched distance rendering between in-car and virtual mirrors.
- Enabled smoother grass distance fading on consoles, increased grass cull distance, reduced overall grass density, improved fade/cull distance on all platforms, and raised object cull distance scale to 100% on consoles.
- Fixed an online race issue where players could get stuck on the results screen after finishing; the results screen now appears after 3 seconds, during which players can spectate or exit the ongoing session.
- Fixed a false-start issue where Auto Transmission could put the car into first gear if throttle was pressed before race start.
- Fixed the virtual mirror showing as a black bar when disabled.
- Fixed the Drive Line assist not always appearing in Singleplayer.
UI and store
- Fixed missing lap counts on the stage result screen.
- Fixed minimap player marker alignment and inversion issues in certain Time Trial sections.
- Fixed an incorrect Wrong way indicator after turn one at Orchard Road Street Circuit.
- Changed livery pricing to 100 R$ for normal liveries and 150 R$ for dynamic liveries; players who bought liveries at the old pricing keep access and receive a full R$ refund.
Known issues
- Players can re-enter the track from spectator view after a race; they are visible to others but have no collision.
- Spectating your own car after a race can make it appear to rubber-band.
- On Xbox, the game can crash if the same replay is watched twice.
We should update event notes for the new post-finish spectate timing, tell stewards the race-stage penalty display bug is visual only, and warn Xbox users not to replay the same replay twice.
