Project Motor Racing 1.7.0.0 adds Ford Falcon V8, GT4 overhaul, and Ranked License Points
Update 1.7.0.0 adds the free Ford Falcon V8 2013 and AUS V8 class, overhauls GT4 tyre and class behaviour, introduces License Points for Ranked Online, and includes BoP, lobby, track, AI, and polish changes.
We’ve logged Project Motor Racing’s 1.7.0.0 patch from the official update notes. The headline items are a new free car, a GT4 class overhaul, and a new Ranked Online License Points system.
What changed
Cars
- Added the Ford Falcon V8 2013 as free DLC via the in-game Downloadable Content menu and platform storefronts.
- Added the new Australian V8 class (AUS V8 in-game).
Physics & handling
- Rebalanced force feedback across N-GT, Sportscar 70, Group 5, LMDh, and GT4.
- Revised traction control in GT3, GT4, and 992 Cup: higher TC settings now allow less yaw and slip; low TC settings are unchanged.
- Made downshift prevention more lenient in GT3, GT4, and 992 Cup.
- GT4 received a new tyre model, class-wide BoP improvements, and rebalanced aero settings.
- GT3 wet tyres were improved for wet grip, and default differential values were changed.
- Existing custom GT4 setups are no longer expected to function as intended; default setups are provided and updated community setups are available via ModHub.
Online & multiplayer
- Added License Points to Ranked Online.
- Added a Pre-warm Tyres option to custom lobby settings.
- Improved host/player synchronization so tyre temperatures stay consistent across the session.
Track & environment
- Added flying advantage zones at Lexington, Northampton, and Zolder to prevent exploit starts.
- Made several visual improvements to São Paulo.
- Updated Armco barriers and collision detection at Nürburgring Nordschleife – Quiddelbacher Höhe.
AI opponents
- Rebalanced LMDh AI pace at 100% difficulty.
- Adjusted AI tyre performance so peak grip builds more gradually.
Overall polish
- Fixed MoTeC flickering in certain conditions.
- Fixed a PS5 issue where setups were not deleting correctly.
- Improved driver animations.
For league ops, we should replace saved GT4 baselines, retest any GT4/GT3 balance-dependent events, and update lobby presets if we want pre-warmed tyres enabled.
