- Racey provides six real-time OBS overlays for sim racing broadcasts: a timing tower (live order, gaps, and fastest-lap indicators), standings, driver cards, a battle tracker, a fastest-lap callout, and an incident ticker. They update live from your league’s scored results.
- How do the overlays work with OBS?
- Every overlay is a browser source URL. Copy it from your Racey dashboard, paste it into an OBS scene as a browser source, and you’re live. No plugins, no downloads, and no configuration files — add it to your scene like any other source.
- Do I need extra software or plugins?
- No. The overlays are standard browser sources, so they work in OBS or any broadcast tool that supports a browser source. There is nothing to install — you only need your Racey overlay URLs.
- Do the overlays update during the race?
- Yes. They are driven by the same scored results that power your league standings, so positions, gaps, fastest laps, and incidents update in real time on stream without manual intervention.
- How much do broadcast overlays cost?
- Broadcast overlays are a Pro feature, included in the Pro plan ($4.99/month) and Enterprise. You can create a free account to set up your league, then upgrade to enable the overlays.
- Can I brand or white-label the overlays?
- The overlays carry your league’s identity out of the box. Full white-label support is on the roadmap for Enterprise plans; if that matters for your broadcast, get in touch about Enterprise.
- Do the overlays work with sims other than iRacing?
- Yes. The overlays render from Racey’s scored results, so any simulator whose results are imported into Racey via CSV — ACC, rFactor 2, AMS2, and others — can drive the same broadcast overlays.
