What changed
Cars

- Modified - SK (both): increased effectiveness of the FFB low-pass filter to reduce strong oscillations while stopped.
Simulation and race control
- Fixed a launch issue where accented or some non-English characters in a Windows username could prevent the sim from starting.
- Pit speed limit logic now includes more leeway for small oscillations near the limit and for vehicles entering pit lane, with extra preventative measures against inadvertent overspeed.
- Heat Racing: fixed a case where not enough heat sessions could be generated.
- Event admins can now rewind to the start of events that only include Qualify and Race sessions.
- Fixed pace car telemetry collection.
User interface and spotter
- Weekend Rules now always show qualifying scrutiny rules in all sessions.
- Pace Speed and Pit Speed were re-added to the Weekend Rules widget.
- Incident Tracker and Session Rules are now always fully opaque.
- Fixed issues affecting current-car controls filtering, Fuel Calculator hangs/crashes/calculations, replay Session Entries, team-race Expand All, and Heat Racing Consolation session labels.
- Added the Ukraine-Vitaliy_Chizhuk spotter pack, plus audio updates for Chinese, Italian, and Spanish packs.
Tracks
- Algarve International Circuit: Barney the flagman now has a proper flag.
- Charlotte Motor Speedway (Legends Oval): updated pace car pit entry behavior to reduce “passing the pace car” penalties.
- Qualcomm Circuit (Naval Base Coronado): fixed invisible-grandstand crowd behavior and corrected the aircraft carrier number and name.

- 2026 Season 3 Patch 2 Release Notes [2026.06.24.02] Patch Release: —--------------------------------------------------------- This release is a Patch, focusing on additional updates, improvements, and fixes for the 2026 Season 3 Release. iRACING Launcher —--------------------------------------------------------- Paint Kit Fixed an issue where car paints would not render accented characters when painting a driver name onto a car. Simulation —--------------------------------------------------------- General Fixed an issue where having accented or some non-english characters in your Windows username could prevent the Simulator from launching. Race Control For the race control rules governing pit speed limit, the rules will now have a notion of how far ahead of where the car is now it should be within given timeframes regardless of speed. This should provide a brief and small relaxation for physical oscillations of the car when vehicle speed is very close to the strict speed limit. For the recent Pit Speed Limiter changes, added some additional preventative measures to the system for stopping inadvertent overspeed. Updated some of the race control systems governing pit speed limits to provide a bit more leeway for vehicles entering pit lane. Fixed an issue with Heat Racing where if a track had its "maximum allowed cars on track" value set lower than its "number of starting grid locations", it could fail to generate enough heat sessions to work correctly. Fixed an issue that would prevent an event Admin from rewinding to the start of an event that only had a Qualify and Race session. User Interface For the Weekend Rules display, the qualifying scrutiny rules are now always displayed in all sessions. For the Weekend Rules Widget, re-added the Pace Speed and Pit Speed values back to the display. The Incident Tracker and Session Rules UI elements are now always at 100% opacity. For the Settings menu, fixed an issue with the 'Only Show Controls for Current Car' behavior. For the Fuel Calculator widget, fixed a Simulator hang that could occur when a calculated stint length was incorrectly estimated as zero milliseconds. No one is that fast! For the Fuel Calculator, fixed a crashing issue with both the Mercedes-AMG W12 and W13 E Performance cars. For the Fuel Calculator widget, fixed an issue where the stint calculations were not running correctly. Fixed an issue where Session Entries could appear empty in Replays. Fixed an issue where the Session Entries "Expand All" button was not usable for team races. Fixed an issue with improper Session labeling in the Session Results tab during Heat Racing Consolation events. Spotter/Crew Chief A new Ukraine-Vitaliy_Chizhuk spotter pack has been added! Many thanks to Vitality for the hard work on this! Added some additional spotter pack audio updates for: Chinese-Tong_Li Italian-Renzo_A_Olivieri Italian-Marco_Arcidiacono Spanish-Ari_Cejas Telemetry Fixed an issue with pace car telemetry collection. Cars —--------------------------------------------------------- <Car Class> GT3 Dry traction control intervention at the most restrictive end of the range has been reduced - TC1, TC2, or TC11 remain unchanged, based on the vehicle. Wet TC intervention at the low end of the range has been reduced, max assist remains the same. These changes are scaled across the entire Dry or Wet range, so most settings have been fine tuned. BMW M8 GTE Fixed an issue where the rear anti-roll bar stiffness selection was not working correctly. Chevrolet Corvette C8.R GTE Fixed a text error in the pit stop black box. EURO NASCAR V8GP Fixed an issue with the spoiler color for the fixed paint scheme. Removed the ability to alter fuel level during fixed setup events. The appearance of scrape damage on the side panels has been tuned based on vehicle damage. Opponent vehicles should now appear to have the correct spoiler position and tire compound equipped, based on what the driver is actually using. Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020 TC settings for all setups have been updated. Modified - SK (BOTH) - Increased effectiveness of FFB Low-pass filter to try and stop high-strength FFB oscillations when the cars are stopped. Tracks —--------------------------------------------------------- Algarve International Circuit Barney, Legendary Flagman, is now equipped with a proper flag - he no longer needs to only use his hands to signal race control correctly. Charlotte Motor Speedway (Legends Oval) - Fred's pace car pit entry technique has been upgraded so he gets onto the "Apron" part of the track faster, and prevents "passing the pace car" penalties. Qualcomm Circuit (Naval Base Coronado) Fixed an issue where crowds would remain when the grandstands were set to be invisible. These were some devoted fans! The aircraft carrier number and name have been corrected.
