iRacing 2025 S3 Patch 3 Hotfix 1: CPU alert tweak and Moza effects disabled
iRacing’s 2025 Season 3 Patch 3 Hotfix 1 applies critical fixes, adjusts when the high-CPU warning appears, temporarily disables Moza 360 Hz and Wheel LFE effects, and removes defunct code from the Ferrari 296 GT3.
We’ve logged iRacing’s 2025 Season 3 Patch 3 Hotfix 1, a small follow-up focused on critical fixes for Season 3 issues. The official release notes also call out a temporary hardware-related rollback.
What changed
Fixes
- iRacing says this hotfix contains critical fixes for issues introduced with the 2025 Season 3 release.
- The high CPU usage warning has been narrowed: it now appears only when there is an active network alert and the CPU alert level would be high (red in the system meter).
- Moza 360 Hz and Wheel LFE effects have been temporarily disabled.
- iRacing says it is investigating a critical issue with Moza that can cause the sim to crash after about two hours of operation, and plans to restore the feature in a future patch once a stable fix is ready.
Cars
- Ferrari 296 GT3: removed some defunct development code.
For league ops, we should notify Moza users before race night and make sure all competitors update to this build before Ferrari 296 GT3 events.
